Great Southern Indigenous cap

This artwork is made up by many segments, representing the many indigenous people, countries, and languages across Australia. The changing patterns with each segment are the changing landscapes of the outback. The rich, earthy colours mimic the natural pigments of this sunburnt land. Sinuous lines throughout the artwork create vein-like pathways, drawing people to the outback. Dotted along the lines are meeting circles, showing people from many different places coming together to experience the unique Australian outback. Presiding over everything are the kangaroo totems - a symbol of creation and life.
